L'Mio Edwards, a junior at Claremont High in California, won the Division 1 girls title in the 800 meters in 2:09.45 at the CIF Southern Section finals at Moorpark High. Edwards also contributed to a seventh-place finish for Claremont in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:58.51.
